About the Artist
Dana West was born in Lakewood, California to parents Bobbie and Clark Gilchrist. She grew up in the high desert of California surrounded by horses, cats, dogs and an assortment of other animals.
Dana now lives in the southwest with her highly spirited husband and clan of happy feline. She has been studying photography since 2002 and will soon complete her fine arts degree.
Dana has had the opportunity to study under some of the finest photographers and artists in the southwest, such as Carol Panero-Smith, Ron Bimrose and Greg Hunter.
